Whether you were planning on buying a new car before Hurricane Harvey or your car was affected by flooding, use caution before purchasing a new or used vehicle. Many previously flooded cars will be sold to unsuspecting consumers. We advise our members to take advantage of getting a pre-purchase inspection before buying a new or used car, especially after the flooding from Hurricane Harvey. Our credit union partner, Auto Exam, is offering our members a pre-purchase inspection discounted price of $109. Click here to read more about Auto Exam.
Gap and Extended Warranty on new purchases
Before an accident happens, be protected. GAP or guaranteed asset protection, covers the difference between your loan amount and the value of your vehicle after depreciation. Our GAP insurance is a one-time payment of $450 on a new auto purchase and will last for the life of the loan. We also offer Extended Warranty, so you can be protected from mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer's warranty expires. When purchasing your new vehicle, be sure to speak with your People's Trust loan officer about GAP and Extended Warranty.
If you finance an Enterprise vehicle with us, Enterprise will make your first payment up to $350. Plus, you can choose to defer your payment for 90 days. Enterprise will offer this deal until October 31, 2017.
